I'm curious, as you seem to be well read on this topic, what the effect of desert winds/sand are on panel longevitity and efficiency are?
- kragen 6y agoI think what I've seen is that you can lose about 20% of efficiency temporarily to dusty panels (until you wipe them off) and about 10% permanently to abrasion increasing the reflectivity of the glass; but longevity is unchanged. I'd be interested in reading more solid studies.
