- artmageddon 16y agoDo it. The rest of us are writing about it, you know you want to too! ;)
- rocktronica 16y agoThis is me nagging.
- zacharycohn 16y ago"Fake it 'till you make it" has so fundamentally changed how I function.
- Dylanlacey 16y agoHeh, amazing isn't it? Bullshit has a single purpose, and that's to turn itself into gold.
- zacharycohn 16y agoI disagree with the sentiment behind your explanation (or at least what I read into it). It's not so much that you're bullshitting and it's turning to gold - it's that you pretend to be comfortable in a situation where you are not, and then as you get used to it you become comfortable, and then you "make it."
- Dylanlacey 16y agoYes, OK, Bluster is probably a better word. You pretend to be comfortable until you are. Basically, you're not going to suddenly become great as a CEO, but if you don't at least give off SOME confidence, your employees, partners, board, competitors, customers won't have any faith.
- gaius 16y agoThere's no magic there, it's simply experience. Do something risky, see nothing goes wrong, understand that the risk was lower than you originally estimated, lather, rinse, repeat.

- xom 16y agoFaking it is making it, most of the time it seems.
- simcop2387 16y agoI'm not enough of an extrovert to nag you myself but I'm hoping that someone might nag me into do it.
