Ideally they'd pick in the middle of the night, to help with this. Personally I'd prefer it as a picker, though not everyone wants to work the night shift.

- sib 6y agoAnd also not everyone wants to be woken up to receive their groceries at 2am after they've been picked in the middle of the night.
- downerending 6y agoThey can store the picked stuff in reefers for delivery later, up to a point. And some orders have nothing cold. But yes, it's a dance. I'd receive my stuff at 2am for a 20% discount.
- sokoloff 6y agoLots of people would. Grocery stores typically run on a 1-3% net margins, so they're probably not going to be handing out 20% across-the-board discounts for anyone...
