- nickff 6y agoThe patent described in that article (US6368268B1) appears to have expired in 2018.
- qdot76367 6y agoYup, patent expired in August 2018 (I did a lot of research and consulting work on that, it's a huge story in and of itself). Of course, these days the landscape is death by a million tinier patents.
