Who Ultimately Decides What Content Is Removed from Facebook? Now We Do
- Proven 6y agoWhereas formerly the owner (Facebook Inc.) decided and the users had their right to free speech justly limited by FB's rules, now that is gone and the mob decides. This is clearly damaging to FB's property rights and at the same time removes protections enjoyed by users with minority or unpopular opinions. The NY Times is against natural human rights (freedom of speech and property) so they're celebrating. Why am I not surprised...
- Digit-Al 6y agoHoly crap! They want you to individually opt out of, by my rough count, 31 different trackers. Insanity.
- xhkkffbf 6y agoLet me just take an absolutist position: no one should decide to remove content from FB except the original poster. If people don't like a person's posts, unfriend them or use the other options for making them disappear. Problem solved. Stop censorship.
