    I think many people go through life uncurious about why an idea occurs to them, why they have a certain preference, why something makes them feel a certain emotion. The subconscious, for all its mysteries, offers the best chance of understanding the underlying forces that motivate our thoughts and behaviors. Realizing this and developing a curiosity about the reasons for my own thoughts and behaviors has totally changed my life for the better.
