Should you hold it against companies which are laying off people or doing pay cut?
I have an emotional reaction to this. Maybe I should be equally needy and switch jobs as soon as I get a better offer.
- vorpalhex 6y agoIf the alternative is telling employees you suddenly can't pay them their paycheck, yes, you should cut early. More than a few restaurants have gone under with no warning and leaving all of their employees fully in the lurch. > Maybe I should be equally needy and switch jobs as soon as I get a better offer. If it's actually a better offer, yes you should. Your company doesn't have any loyalty to you outside the risk of replacing you.
