Can anyone please explain what's why PayPal (and other payment processors?) cannot afford accepting payments on behalf of others?
- systemtrigger 16y agoThe intermediary has little control over the quality and delivery of the product being sold, and must be trusted to pay the third party. The risk of chargebacks and fraud is higher thus PayPal cannot afford to underwrite the transactions.
