- mahmud 16y agoyou can do real time in Ruby too Please don't overload the meaning of "real-time"; It doesn't mean "real fast".
- drdaeman 16y agoDo you imply that EventMachine is slower than Node.js for IO-bound tasks?
- mahmud 16y agoPlease, look it up. From wikipedia: "A system is said to be real-time if the total correctness of an operation depends not only upon its logical correctness, but also upon the time in which it is performed."
- mnutt 16y agoI think we're past that point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real-time_computing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real-time_computing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real-time_web http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real-time_web
- mahmud 16y agoI saw the disambiguation page for "Real-time" again last night, and you're absolutely right.
