well pretty much this, the common view point is the masses are too dumb to make the correct decision and are in need of help/rescue. Sadly this same pattern of though infests the tech community who is so sure of their superior intellect it completely escapes them that other people, usually those in service industries because its obvious no one would willingly choose such, can make good decisions about their own lives. hence, laws with pretentious sounding names where opponents are shouted down or branded baby killers. seriously, does it ever stop? I have as have others worked more than one job to make ends meet because this is what you do. I decided where to work not the person or company offering the job. If the work conditions were not to my liking I certainly wasn't going to stay there and the same goes for many in similar situations.
