Why let things crumble and not nationalize them. California can easily buy or capture them both and provide a better service. All these gig workers will become public sector employees.
- toomuchtodo 6y agoI'm not against nationalizing when necessary (PG&E), but California could probably deploy a similar digital transportation market system without absorbing the toxicity that is Uber.
- xyzzyz 6y agoJust like the Muni or BART, which is such a good service it’s driving Uber and Lyft out of business.
