Thought experiment: People willingly giving this power over to an alternative group of people (a company in this case) could be considered a democratic vote from a populace? Providing power is willingly given to them by the actions of the group.
- rorykoehler 6y agoAt best people are voting for who has the best product or service to solve their immediate needs. I don't buy Apple products (and I'm fully in the Apple ecosystem) because of Apple's great vision for how society should develop. Democracy operates on a different plane.
