Bitcoin trusts thousands of entities, and some are undoubtedly outright evil. The trick is requiring cooperation of an absolute majority to pull off an attack. That's harder to achieve that just between Intel/AMD.
- ubiubi18 6y agoActually bitcoin as we know it means trusting a few dozend entities which control everything with their miningpools and of which more than 50 % hashpower are based in China. That is why i never took it too serious.
