I moved everything important off Google years ago. I figure trusting the world’s largest advertising company with private data was sub-optimal. The cases we’ve seen since, where people get their Google accounts terminated without reason or appeal options, have only made me more adamant in my position of not entrusting Google with anything important. So the only thing I’d lose that would bother me would be my YouTube subscriptions and watch-later list.
