I ranted about this to my group of friends a while ago. I usually explicitely state `python3` when running scripts from the command line in linux and macOS.
On my Windows machine I recently installed python for a mini-project and forgot to create a symlink so I could use python3 as a command. I then launched a script (which was working perfectly fine when run via VSCode) from CMD with `python3` and nothing happened. It took me quite a while to figure out, that python3 invoked the stub comman, which did nothing at all when called with a script as parameter. No error, no warning, the store page didn't open. Just empty output
