I think your interpretation of the author's interpretation is flawed.
- carrolldunham 6y agoThe author 'calls bullshit' on the saying, implying the author thinks the saying intends to imply that a bad idea will work
- rickpmg 6y agoYes, he called bullshit on it.. on his incorrect interpretation of the saying. The saying is more along the lines of "An idea without action is worthless" His rephrasing of it was either a 1) bad interpretation or 2) a purposeful one so he could disagree with it and appear 'edgy'.
- darkerside 6y agoThis is called a straw man. It's a logical fallacy, but unfortunately a very persuasive argument at times.
