- p1necone 7y agoAre you this weirdly cynical and judgemental about everything that's new to you? Do you always go out of your way to put barriers in the way of learning new things?
- markdown 7y agoJesus, what exactly was wrong about the comment you replied to? Why is there a difference between the character design for a Call of Duty game, or Clash of Clans, or TF2, Minecraft, or Fortnite? Because the designers of those games want us to feel a certain way. That's character design 101. Most people are put off by the design of Minecraft. Is it cynical and judgemental to state the fact that the entire point of design is to evoke certain feelings, and the game designer knew he was targeting a particular demographic for whom the design would be appealing?
