  This just reminded me how dangerous and foolish it is to use Google as an OAuth sign-in method. I’ve idiotically done this for a bunch of major services, including freaking medium.com, among many others. Can’t believe I’ve been so careless. Now I worry and wonder how hard it will be get back to regular email & password.

    Depends on the service. Sometimes you have to delete your account and start again unfortunately. But if you can, a password manager is a much better solution that generally doesn’t leak information about all systems an account uses to the account provider for the purposes of targeted advertising.
