At least they had the excuse of being the first who this happened to. Germany has had (mostly contained) Covid cases since Jan 27, and there's been community spread in Europe since February. Where China (supossedly) had lunar New Year celebrations, we had carnival celebrations with hundreds of thousands. And Germans along with half of Europe went skiing in the Alps, right next to what was at the time the epicenter of the disease.
