I think what I'd personally prefer is office as coworking space - go there when onboarding, have space for meetings/events/sessions, and have a few offices available for the people who prefer that. Best of both worlds - cost savings from everyone who prefer to be home (which will be a lot of people) with the option to commute when its the better option.
