Yeah that's called Hindsight bias

  Not at all. We knew from Italy that pre-existing conditions were a significant co-conspirator. We knew the elderly were more susceptible. Yet, the extended care facilities _to this day_ remain a major contributor to the death toll. Even if you call it hindsight bias, what do you call the current refusal to step back and ask what we've learned so far? To stay the course, with a lack of data to support it? What do we call that?
