I used the Stylus browser extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/styl-us/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/styl-us/, https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylus/clngdbkpkpeebahjckkjfobafhncgmne https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylus/clngdbkpkpe...) to add this style to the page:
danluu.com – more-readable text
body {
max-width: 65ch;
line-height: 1.3;
/* center the body in the viewport, and then add padding to make up for the default margin we overwrote */
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
padding-left: 0.5em;
padding-right: 0.5em;
}
I’ve had that style on for so long I forgot about this site’s terrible defaults.
