When I called my ISP to switch over to my own modem they stop charging me the extra $10 a month to rent the modem but said just to keep it. It’s nothing more than a money grab.
- colejohnson66 6y agoDid you get that is writing? Because ISPs have been know to say that, and then turn around and keep charging you.
- StillBored 6y agoOr tell you to return it when you move/cancel in 10 years. At which point they have you over a barrel for the $$$$ they want for a piece of equipment that is basically worthless. I would return it to the local office and get a receipt anyway.
