I don't think there's a legal interest rate that's as bad as paying $150 annually to rent a $100 router, that's basically 150% interest.
So regardless how bad your credit rating and interest rate are, it's overwhelmingly worth putting a router onto your credit card.
- derg 6y agoOh I absolutely don't disagree with that at all. I just think it's an interesting aspect to it, _especially_ for me, having recently been inundated with ads about "Xfinity's awesome router that you need for ~MAXIMUM GAMING~", which directs people to the idea that they _need_ the "official" router from their ISP to get the most of their service.
