As someone who just recently completed a Read API overhaul for NodeBB (https://docs.nodebb.org/api/ https://docs.nodebb.org/api/), the more I read into Swagger/OpenAPI, the more out of my depth I feel.
I thought I did something cool by taking our existing express routes, generating a boilerplate OpenAPI spec, and then integrating it with our testing suite so the response type-matched the spec... but now I'm reading all this stuff about spec-first approaches to software design and I'm feeling like both my app and I are dinosaurs, and all this is only meant for brand-spanking new software.
