Sweden has a strong healthcare system. For the vast majority of other countries delaying deaths will mean saving many lives, because of overwhelmed healthcare systems. In the US, for example, healthcare systems are overloaded in places far from hotspots. If the lockdown had come a day or two later in places that are hotspots it would have been a catastrophe.
