I've been using the adapter in my car for 2 years, twice a day, no problems so far. Lightning is far more resilient to this than USB-C ports in my Macbook for example, which have become pretty loose over the years of plugging in chargers and monitors.
- Lio 6y agoIt's the lead that becomes loose not the port with USB-C so you can change the cable you use to connect to your monitor and it will be like new again.
