- greenyoda 7y agoNote that it's the customer's insurance company that's suing Amazon, not the customer, so they'd have more resources to spend on a lawsuit than an individual would (plus experience with suing to recover these kinds of damages). The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court in Minnesota. The defective product was designated as "Amazon's Choice", which would seem to imply at least some level of endorsement of its quality by Amazon, no matter how much Amazon wants to disclaim responsibility for that in their fine print.
