Complexity is essential, without it we wouldn't know anything about anything. Complexity is not an excuse for poor structure/performance/high price, but it can be exactly that. It's like there is some moral code of some devs out there not to use it for their personal advantage. Others are doing it casually and exactly like that. We should all fight it, and learn from it. There is no silver bullet, and we probably don't have programming languages that good that we can struggle with it with ease.
