Can someone please expound upon this?
- jgwil2 6y agoFederal courts have swung to the right due to the ascendancy of Republicans at the federal level. This is driven by representatives of red (and poor) states but is funded by people in rich (and blue) states. So rich people who can't buy elections in blue states are bankrolling campaigns in red states instead, but with a view ultimately to influencing politics in blue states.
- raidicy 6y agoSo essentially they aim to create violet politicians whose goal is to sway blue politicians to accept more red ideologies for insurance in case red political powers wane?
