It's never been easier to write a cross platform game with toolkits like Unity.
- cameronbrown 7y agoHalf of those games marked as macOS don't work anymore after the forced 32->64bit migration. My Steam library is useless on my Macbook.
- fouc 7y agoHmm, another reason to stay on High Sierra rather than upgrading to Catalina.
- ghaff 7y agoIt's true that there are fewer games. If someone's really into laptop/desktop gaming, they probably want a Windows system. Though it's also true that, for a lot of casual gamers, laptop gaming generally may not matter all that much.
- arkanciscan 7y agoHalf as many, and only the bad half.
- cameronbrown 7y agoI disagree - there is fun to be had in these games (same with those with Linux support). But as I mentioned in a sibling comment, the real issue is half of this half is now unsupported.
- arkanciscan 7y agocan't hear you because he's playing Red Dead Redemption 2
- cameronbrown 7y agoIf it wasn't for DRM, that game would probably work under Proton.
