I've had this app a while and just used it to identify Eastern Skunk Cabbage growing near me. I didn't know that some plants could be thermogenic. This app seems to work pretty well. I tried this identification first on a single leaf and only got results for plantains. But using a pic of the whole plant got an accurate ID.
