We've been mounting a Logitech webcam to an inexpensive tripod with an inverted-column. We connect that webcam to a computer and log it in to a videoconference. We use another computer to bring our family into a videoconference with friends. Works great with most games. Took us about half an hour to get the lighting right, and now we can spin it up in about five minutes to play any game in the house. About half the time, we don't even play the game. Conversation matters more than everything else these days.
