I'm interested in understanding what the GP's point was. I don't get to definitely choose arbitrary definitions and interpretations for them. The dictionary and accepted usage offers a range of interpretations.
- bl0b 6y agoApologies.. your comment sure read a lot like 'if starve really means eat less, maybe they should just suck it up and eat less.' I though it was obvious that GP's usage of the word 'starve' wasn't to be taken literally.
