Perhaps you do... There have been other examples of people being utterly out-of-touch with the plight of the little people. Marie Antoinette, they say, was confused about why people were protesting about bread shortages when there was so much cake to eat.

This idiotic overreaction transcends poltics and has been worldwide. It will be in the history books next to Salem Witch Trials, Tulip Mania, and other popular delusions.
