Travis Scott Virtual Concert on Fortnite Breaks Record with 12M Attendees
- deeblering4 6y agoI’m hopeful that the virtual concert becomes much more commonplace at the end of all this. I’m a fan of tiny desk and KEXP live concerts, and think it would be great if musicians could earn money from online “live” music.

- keiferski 6y agoHe’s known for being particularly maximalist and experimental in his videos and media presence, which HNers might find interesting from a technical perspective: https://www.travisscott.com/video/ https://www.travisscott.com/video/
- overheadnoise 6y agoThanks grandpa.
- nerdbaggy 6y agoThink Epic could do this in near real time with like a motion capture suit or something? That way the artist can interact with the audience more than just kinda dancing.
- britmob 6y agoA very similar event was done in 2019 with Lindsey Stirling and WaveVR, so the tech is certainly there. https://vrscout.com/news/lindsey-stirling-vr-concert-400k-viewers/ https://vrscout.com/news/lindsey-stirling-vr-concert-400k-vi...
