Have those apples been native to the US West or have they been brought by the early settlers? If they have been brought by the early settlers I would expect to find them in the old world.
- chriskanan 7y agoApples as a species originated in central Asia. I assume the rare cultivars they are looking for must have been developed in the United States for the story to make sense.
