Long time mercurial user here. When I started using git, I found git cli and other UI clients very confusing. Followed many tutorials, etc. But I couldn't stop thinking in terms of hg and transition to git. Fork saved my day. The UI is distraction free and feels like a perfect wrapper over git porcelain than git cli. I started looking into what commands are executed on the UI and repeated the same on Linux to understand and learn more. I'm now comfortable with git cli because of Fork.
