It is a fact that this is "heavily disputed" in the same way that there is a "controversy" about evolution vs. divine creation of life forms. That is, yes, you might have a crazy aunt or grandpa who "disputes" the scientific facts. But that is not an interesting observation, nor is it something that has a "threshold [...] for changing that idea". Personally, I downvoted the original post because it was so badly written that it's not clear what interesting point, if any, the parent was trying to make.
