Soviet system was build as an attempt to provide schooling for every one, what kind of schooling of 1800 you are even talking about?
- p_l 7y agoAdvanced schooling used to be for the elites. With the revolutions, the system was simply expanded, not created from scratch anew. So you would have the methods used to teach the elites be the foundations of the new system.
