Given that Apple would be the primary beneficiary of a strong Swift ecosystem and seeing how they treat developers on their platform - maybe they should rethink their stance or at least bring all employee projects in-house. Are there many developers out there that only program for Apple platforms? I suppose if you want to be one of those developers or if you want to work for Apple, it might be not be a bad idea to contribute.
