Would be interested if there is a company bias being seen here — a lot of the larger tech companies both pay more and, from my experience, are more flexible with working arrangements than traditional big companies. My intuition is especially piqued by the fact that the author says the initial foray into remote work is where most of the effect is seen. Most of my peers and my experience is that working remotely once a week or so is not at all uncommon.
