I guess Facebook has done some calculation about the potential fines/time sitting in congressional hearings in the aftermath of this versus revenue. I think it is strange to criticise this move as suppressing free speech. If you value free speech you wouldn’t be using facebook, a for-profit venture controlled by a few people with their own agenda.
