Covid-19 shows why internet access is a basic right
- Proven 7y agoWhat an awful article. Internet cannot possibly be a basic right because you can't get it without coercing someone to pay for it (in the process you would violate another person's rights). So the bottom line is the article is just a call for higher taxes or more deficit spending. I am against both or any combination of the two. If you need it, pay for it like everyone else does and stop lining telcos' pickets with free taxpayer money.
