I think this speaks to the general attitude towards education that many of our politicians have. For a $40 million deficit, they fired every single teacher? Not laid off, fired. It is incredibly irresponsible of them to play around with the education system like that. If they thought the teachers were lackluster before, they just took the wind out of all of their sails, that's for sure.
