Jury is still out on Apple, advertising isn't their primary source of revenue and they have a much better track record on privacy than Google. Verdict is definitely in on Google though. Anyone willing to give this level of power and data to Google is like sending your children to a daycare run by pedophiles. Sure, you might make it work and earn a paycheck but you're coming back home to a mess that probably can't be undone.
