- stonemetal 16y agoWell according to the article a basic tenant of Christianity is that only the gullible need apply. I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children to think of ourselves as being "wise and understanding" - is a serious barrier to seeing clearly. No, according to the verse quoted actually being wise and understanding is a barrier to believing not just thinking you are. I know Muzza was too nice to bring it up, but there is the whole cannibalism thing. I find that a bit off putting.
