Arrhythmia is a well know complication and contraindication of Chloroquine. This should have been identified by the doctors prescribing it and NOT PRESCRIBED IT for at risk patients.
- HillRat 6y agoUnfortunately, COVID may also be associated with hypokalemia, so even patients without comorbidities could be at risk for TdP. HCQ may have therapeutic or prophylactic benefits, but it’s definitely not without serious risks.
