OT, but I had this with Azure. My MS account was tied to the AD of a previous customer. Can not access Azure dashboard or services at all. 5 years later and still not resolved, despite numerous e-mails, phone calls, with several people (they even insisted I install a .exe file in order to be able to do screensharing. It took some persistance to make them accept that I shouldn't have to install Windows and install a binary just to be able to restore my account. That was about 6 months ago. If this is how Microsoft support works for real, no wonder the scammers getting people to install malware are successful).
