To me, calling it "Trash-talk" seems to have a smug tone. It seems to imply the designers were insulting Amazon rather than having some sort of constructive criticism. "In general, criticizing one's employer in public is usually inversely proportional to the longevity of one's employment with said employer." reads a lot more balanced to me.
